The purpose of After Rescue Training is to connect rescues and trainers to help transition horses from rescued to adopted. While many people find the idea of adopting a rescue horse to be attractive, the average adopter does not have the skills to provide training for an animal with an unknown history. By providing low cost training for rescues, the After Rescue Training program hopes to help get these horses out of the rescues and into their new homes.

In June, trainers from the Federal Way, WA area will open their barns to a rehabilitated rescue horse. They will have 90 days to work with their horse before showcasing their results at the end of August. We will be following their progress here. Currently, we are in the process of raising awareness and funds to make sure this project is a success. If you would like to donate, visit our How You Can Help page.
